T. K. MARION BIOGRAPHY
T. K. Marion is a native of Tidewater, Virginia, and the
proud
son of a distinguished naval officer. An alumnus of Penns
Wharton School, he is a former management professional in
the financial industry. He left the corporate world to pursue
a
career as an author of historical fiction. He resides in south-
eastern Pennsylvania.
Marion involves himself in much community service. He is a
member of the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce and Industry,
sits on the board of directors of the National Alliance
on Mental illness (NAMI), and is the President/CEO of the
Thirteen Stars Foundation, which is dedicated to persons
with cystic fibrosis. (Partial proceeds from Kill the Devil
and subsequent novels authored by T. K. Marion will subsidize
the foundation.)
He has been interviewed and featured on local television
and
radio talk shows, and in several newspaper articles. He is
an experienced, entertaining speaker, his topics including
writing, education, history and mental illness. (He lives
with bipolar
disorder, a chronic mental disease.)
